Happy Tuesday! Are you ready to tell all? Tell All Tuesday is a weekly series where I share what’s happening in my world. But, really? My world’s kind of boring. Here’s what’s on my mind today:
- The kids are back in school. That means getting up early, which I don’t like, and a scheduled writing time, which I do like.
- Speaking of kids… another will be joining our family very, very soon! No, I’m not expecting. But our oldest daughter BreAnna is. What? I’m too young to be a grandma? Well, thank you. You are now my favorite person.
- My current book is really fighting me. My goal was to have it done in April. It’s September… enough said.
- My daughter, Aleigha, read over thirty books this summer. Thirty! And she managed to keep an active life, swimming every day, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math= STEAM) camp, and all the stuff thirteen-year-old girls do. I knew I had to have at least ONE reader in the family!
- I’m about to get on the soul-crushing-agent-search-rollercoaster again. I’m not quite sure how I feel about that. An agent can open so many doors for an author, but the process of finding one is horrible.

I'm an award-winning YA and NA author... but, really? I'm the wife of an amazing man, mom of four awesome kids, a reader of words, and writer of stories. I love candles and books, think garden gnomes are creepy and M&Ms are the perfect food (especially peanut butter). I live and write in Texas, but was raised in Flint, Michigan and will always think of the Great Lakes state as home.
