Everything she knows is a lie.
A student at the prestigious boarding school for troubled teens, Seventeen-year-old Jacquelyn (Jacq) Carmichael is forced to take summer classes as punishment for lying to her parents. Her fun-filled summer was just cancelled and replaced with the agony of calculus and art history. But she'll learn far more than the quotient rule over the summer, and a failing grade might be a death sentence. Literally.
When new student Luka arrives, students start turning up dead. He says he's there to protect Jacq, but when he tells her who he is and what he's protecting her from, she’s sure he might be crazy enough to kill.
As the death toll rises, Jacq learns the people she’s trusted most have been lying to her, the world and all that's in it isn't what it seems, and the mysterious boy she thinks is crazy might be her only chance for survival.
